The image of the concert couldn't get out of his head, but maybe it was for the best. He needed something to make it real even if he didn't want it to be real. It had happened and fate had seemed to take it's course causing Luna to kiss the other vampire that was named Raffeal Adams. His mind was racing wanting to deny anything happened with the two but he saw it was his own eyes and knew it was hard to change something when you saw it for yourself. But, he had to get over the fact that they kissed. It was juts a kiss, but that kissed seemed to break Sawyer's heart into a million piece. He wasn't sure how he felt about Luna but now he was certain it was more than what he thought it was.

He was a love struck fool and felt embarrassed on the way he acted and was acting right now. He wasn't sure where he was going but as far away from Luna seemed the best for both of them at the moment. He let his feet stop in the darkness and heard the cold water rushing beneath him. He was on one of the many bridges and he didn't know where exactly but at the moment didn't care anymore. He walked to the railing and threw his body on the edge relaxing on the cold metal while he began to think. He rested his head against the side of the railing letting his liquid amber filled eyes gaze into the dark night sky. The stars were sparkling like they usually did. How could they sparkle and not have any problems like the rest of the world.

Closing his eyes for a minute he moved his head back to it's original position. He couldn't explain it but no matter how angry he felt to wards Rafe or Luna he just wanted to be closer to Luna even more. Sawyer pushed his body off the side and jumped over the railing once more. He placed his hands inside of his jeans knowing that he needed to think. His mind was telling him to do many things but he didn't have a heart did he? He was to dangerous for her, but Rafe was more controlled than Sawyer. He had only gone to the club that night to watch Luna preform, and he was amazed by her vocals and her playing. He should have gotten so worked up only because he knew that they were only friends. He knew that at times love only went one way and wasn't shared between two people but he felt that it was different with Luna.

He then stood in his tracks as he began to search in his head for answers. He felt something for Luna and it wasn't just blood lust like everyone wanted to believe it was. It was something real, even if people were blinded by their races it was something he just felt whenever he was with her. He wanted to protect her but at the same time wanted to treat her with the softest touch. He looked down at the black ground before mumbling some words. He then began to form a small smile on his face. He realized that he was in love with Luna more and if he didn't tell her then he would loose her forever. Loosing Luna wasn't something he could ever handle, but he knew if he was around her he could and would protect her from harm no matter what obstacles where in the way.

The one in his way at the moment was just the his pure stubbornness to admit his feelings. He was kicking himself in the ass for not telling her the truth and just storming out of the club like a hurt puppy. He didn't actually storm just ran out faster than he ever thought he could once he stood there dazed by Luna's lips being claimed by the vampire boys. He knew he was going to have to apologize for disappearing on her knowing that she was watching him most of the time. Breathing out light he began to run back the way he had came before reaching Craver. He knew she didn't live in the dorms but he just happened to find his way back to the school easier knowing that she lived with her old brother that hated his guts.

Running towards the house he slowed down the pace before closing his eyes and listening for the familiar heart beat that he adored now. He heart it and ran toward the house, and stopped outside the fence. He breathed in and out once more before jumping over the fence of the house and moving towards the window. He heard Connors on the lower floor mumbling something about crying and other things. Sawyer was glad he could enter her house and that the legends of the invitation for a vampire wasn't true as they were made out to be. He jumped on the tree making his way to a branch that led to the second level of the house. He landed on the roof tiles with a lightly thud before remaining silent. He slowly moved his body across the roof peering into windows looking for her. He could her the light sobbing.

He peered into the window but the frost on the window made it hard to see. He could but knew that at the moment he just look like a shadow outside the window. Placing his finger on the cold window he drew a heart in the window and placed his name in it. Usually he commonly saw them on trees but at the moment the tree wasn't visible for Luna to see. He wrote it backwards so she could read it. Tapping lightly on the window he hopped that would get her attention but who knew.

Falling in love was a scary thing for anyone. Human, vampire, werewolf hell even dead people could fall in love for we know. But what hurts the most is when that connection with someone breaks causing your heart to shatter along with it. It may take people a while to admit it specially for guys but they slowly feel a piece missing. Never regaining the piece back of the heart that woman or girl took for him. For sawyer he held onto his heart with all he had until somehow Luna, regular human luna madden had stolen it from him without even knowing it. Sawyer knew his heart was hers now and he would be foolish not to try and explain it to her because he only wanted her. He would eternally be wanting her if he never told her or gave her a chance.

He didn't want to break Luna's heart specially if she was in love with rafe though he didn't see why in the world she would be. Being the kind of guy he was he had to tell her everything then leave like he had done all the time when someone notice his face not to age or him not eat food at all. He didn't want to run already knowing what it felt like from being away from Luna though she would slowly age over time and live out her life. But he made a pact with himself not to kill or turn a human no matter what. Then again that was even if Luna felt the same pull of attraction and love he did towards her. They had only known each other for a short amount of time but he could have known her for less and hadn't have loved her less either. It was hard for him to explain specially to himself when he had been with the same woman for hundred years and still hated her and didn't feel anything.

Was this the sign he was looking for finally? Was it true that he had found his soul mate that everyone longed for? Rethinking about the whole vampire thing he began not to see it as a curse but as a blessing leading him to Luna. He was happy that he had continued on and decided to stay and attend Craver even if they sounded crazy for trying to merge races together. He didn't know if it was meant to be but he could only hope that it was and he was getting the right signs leading the two together.

He was beginning to write another name but before he could the window jerked up and he saw the beautiful Luna standing there. He looked at her for a moment not saying anything. But he felt the cold wind brush against her face and tossing her hair causing him to smile lightly at her. " I wasn't done," he mumbled as he entered the room through the window knowing he could have done it faster but decided against that way. He stood up straight looking at the girl in front of him before closing the window. Bringing his hand up to her face glad he had closed the window knowing his cold skin could only make her colder he wiped the tears away from her cheek.

"I love you Luna." The words came out easier than he thought they would though explaining them to her would be another story. He couldn't explain it but he had fallen in love with this mere human that was herself even though she thought of herself as a geek he had fallen for her. Sawyer didn't want her to be any other way, he enjoyed her lovable quirks of being a nerd.

Lying wasn't something he was good at and he could tell you straight up no flinching or humor in it, Luna was the most beautiful person he met. She was all around beautiful in all aspects that anyone would want. She was smart but wasn't a nerd like she assumed herself to be one though Sawyer would still adore her even if she was one just because it was hard to resist that smile that made his whole body seem to drop a in temperature. He knew at first he was just a stalker and he enjoyed it while it lasted but he was glad that in the courtyard she caught him just because he would have never been able to put his finger on what it was about causing him to fumble every time he thought of her or even heard something that reminded him of her. Though it was nearly everything but that was besides the point.

Sawyer understood why Rafe wouldn't be able to resist Luna but as he felt he could feel a heartbeat stop that wasn't Luna's. There was someone else in the room that reacted about the same way he did but had a heartbeat that cared about someone. He wasn't sure if it was Luna's admires or even Rafe's. But it wasn't as happy as the others were when it happened. He wasn't sure if he should be hating Rafe for kissing Luna the way he did or thanking him for the small fact of making him realize that this was the only girl in the world he wanted and needed. He was clueless on which one he wanted to do at the moment but decided that it wasn't the right moment in time to be thinking of the one man that pushed him over boarding causing his statue mask to fall off and show the side of Sawyer he was trying to keep from Luna.

He was to dangerous for Luna and that was the main thing he knew. He didn't want to hurt her but he couldn't no matter how hard he wanted to her and they pushed their boundaries in the courtyard more and more. Knowing that Connor was in the house didn't bother Sawyer as much as he thought it would at first. He was a little bit worried about him just coming up to the room and demanding that Luna tell him what was wrong but hoped that wouldn't happen just because he wanted Luna all to himself. He was being greedy just because he finally found the last piece of his cold and broken heart that he was missing and longing to find. Placing his skin against hers always gave him a slight comfort. He knew that his words could be just being felt one way but he hoped and prayed that they weren't only because of the way her eyes were.

Feeling her hand on his chest he stopped breathing knowing that air literally had stopped for him. Though he could have told that if he needed it he would be dead for just being away from Luna. Hearing the words escape her lips he wanted to smile but instead watched her, his eyes upon hers not wanting to leave. His eyes told the story and they apparently had been telling the same story until now but he was beginning to like this new story he seemed to be involved in.

He had never been in love even as a human. He was forced to be bound to a woman once before but that was for wealth and only that. But, now he was in love and the only boundary they had was the fact she was a delicate flower while he was a giant that would easily harm it. The thought of harming Luna caused him to blink twice but he didn't know what to do.

He heard her comment about her conflicted friend and shook his head lightly before waiting for her to finish. He followed her eyes to her hand upon his chest and placed his top of it. He moved it over to where his heart would be pounding faster than it should be if he was alive. Hearing her ending words he used his open hand to wipe away the tear rolling down her face. It sadden him seeing the beautiful woman crying because of him. "The lion fell in love with the lamb, the sick masochistic lion." He said before leaning forward waiting to kiss her a bit of afraid. His breath upon her lips before he finally went in and placed his lips upon hers and kissing her.

There was nothing to forgive really besides his foolishness to run away. He hadn't played all his cards that he should of before running. Though now he felt stupid for even making that move knowing that Luna wanted him not Rafe or anyone else him. The blood sucking vampire that could kill her within a second if he had the desire. But for some reason Sawyer felt like she knew him more than anyone did. He couldn't attack her which made her open up and trust him more and more it seemed. In his mind Luna was forgave and now he had to beg for forgiveness from her knowing that running away wasn't the smartest idea in the world he had. Specially since their were words unspoken between the two that were now known. He didn't know what to do from there just because the way the world worked and how it seemed to go by so slowly for him but for Luna it would go by fast until that day she takes her last breath and dies. That imagine of her being old wasn't something he wanted and didn't want.

was it selfish of him to want Luna to remain the same perfect way forever and not age with him? He didn't know the answer but knew it was very selfish of him. He didn't want to put her through the torture of being monster with him and killing people. Though he didn't know what kind of monster he could be with Luna around. If he had Luna he didn't need anyone else he didn't care anymore he never wanted to leave Luna now. She had doomed herself from when those words had escaped her lips, though he was going to eventually have to leave her for hunting but that was a minor portion of it they were going to deal with. He would be with her as long as she wanted him there for. Once she said she didn't need him or want him anymore he would be gone within a flash not wanting to feel the hurt or pain that the girl would cause. Though he was determined not to mess it up that bad.

Smirking at her stupid lamb comment he moved his body closer to her scared that he wasn't going to be strong enough. Though he had tested his limits and knew he would be able to do it. He was frighten no, scared out of his skin to kiss her just knowing that it might hurt her made him rethink it in the back of his mind. Though he wasn't thinking of his mind right now only on what his heart wanted and it wanted Luna to itself all of her. As he kissed her he felt her slightly hesitation at first knowing that they both were somewhat scared on the outcomes of this. He then felt her deepen the kiss, and he grinned in the kiss before pulling her body closer to his the lightest he could not wanting to hurt her. He knew he was the one making the decisions to go farther or stop at the moment it was all foggy for him knowing that even in his right might he would regret it or would he? He was enjoying this more than anything he could imagine he would in his life.

As she finally pulled back he had forgotten that only he didn't have to breath. His hand was on her neck lightly, but he brought it back to his side slowly before feeling her kiss his lips again. Was she sure she wanted to go all the way with him? One being Sawyer and two a vampire at that. There had to be some science behind it but he didn't want to get deep into though about the do's and don'ts of having sex with a human. Pulling away for a minute he looked down at her. He was trying to see in her eyes if this was something she really wanted or just desired. Though either one would have worked for Sawyer at the moment. Finding his answer he placed his hands into hers and pulled her lightly to the bed before sitting on the edge of it and pulling her on top of him. He kissed her lips lightly.

Dating wasn't something Sawyer was looking forward to only because the fear of hurting her or Connor having his rage and anger out on him. He knew her brother was a killer but he wasn't sure how he would exactly feel about his baby sister falling in love with a vampire though Sawyer wasn't going to prove his point that all vampires were horrible. Her body was something he was already attracted to only by the mere fact of blood running through her veins though tasting her lips against his he couldn't find a flaw in her yet. Her skin tasted great underneath his cold lips though he still had fears about not being able to control himself just because usually during intercourse the heart seemed to speed up and increase sending blood rushing through the body faster. Reading her eyes he could see that she wanted it to be the night that time stood still and that she lost it completely to him. He knew when it was a girls first time it would hurt and he wasn't sure he was going to be able to bear with the pain of hurting her no matter how much he knew he would enjoy it.

He wasn't going to lie he was scared that he would hurt her and make her not want to be with him. Though he knew that being physical wasn't something a relationship lived on he had a feeling something would turn out for the better. He was scared also though he knew how to play it off and knew that he could just resist his urges his hardest. As she deepened in the kiss he rested her hands on her thighs, before she pulled away. He cursed lightly under his breath for the fact she was human but knew that he wasn't sure how he would be around her if she wasn't. Yea, she would be the same Luna and he would still love her but there would be a sense of protection that he would loose when she wasn't his fragile lamb that he fell for. Looking at her hands he watched her take her tank top off of her head, and he looked at her eyes though he knew where most guys would be looking at. Then again Sawyer Dalton McClain wasn't most guys he was a gentleman more than anything.

He didn't see a need to drool over something that was now his, and he had for eternity. Hearing her words he looked at her for a moment speechless and he looked down knowing that he wanted to give her everything she wanted and maybe he should just stop looking for reasons not to and become the average man. But, he didn't want to be that he wanted to be his calm sweet self and take things slow. He didn't want to rush her knowing that this was her first time, and somewhat scared himself because this was his first time with a human in the longest time. Well his first human ever that he had been so close to.

Hearing her words once more he ran his finger of her cheek before resting it on her thigh again and letting her lips claim his once more. He felt her body closer and closer into his and felt her hand gripping at the fabric that was hiding her from the cold temperature of his body. Kissing her back he slowly pulled away before putting his arm around her body and laying her down onto the bed. He took off his shirt somewhat ashamed at his body for being so skinny compared to most guys but he didn't let that stop him from the fact he was probably the luckiest man alive at the moment. Throwing it to the floor he kicked his shoes off before resting on his side and letting his lips touch Luna's shoulder as she laid there. He looked at her once more before letting his lips claim hers and using his arms to make sure his body wasn't crushing her.
